Quick Tip!
When you first turn on the camera, make sure you format the SD card, auto black balance, and load the camera settings from the second SD card. These options can be found in the star menu tab or by pressing button 17 on the front of the camera.
The Canon C100 records audio directly into the camera through its internal microphone and through external devices. This allows for less audio set up, and simpler editing. Watch this video to learn more about the audio components of the C100 and how to properly attach exterior microphones.
Quick Tip!
Never let an audio channel go unused. An empty channel can be set to record through the internal microphone as a safety channel. This can work as a backup in case your primary channel peaks.
